System Requirements
- SMAC requires Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server, Vista or Windows 7.
- SMAC requires Microsoft certified Network Adapters.
- SMAC must be used with an administrative account.
Quick Start Instructions
To spoof a MAC Address with SMAC:
1. Select the appropriate network adapter.
2. Enter a new MAC Address or click Random.
3. Click on Update MAC to apply the new MAC Address.
To use SMAC to remove a spoofed MAC Address:
1. Select the appropriate network adapter.
2. Click on Remove MAC to remove the spoofed MAC Address.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Make sure that only unique MAC Addresses are assigned to each Network Adapter.
- Make sure that only valid Singlecast IANA Ethernet MAC Addresses are assigned.
- If the MAC Address change does not take effect, manually disable/enable the network connection or restart the computer.
